Happy Halloween from the staff at Brookeside Montessori
The Brookeside Montessori staff coordinated outfits to be a rainbow of fruit. We had apples, a pineapple, an orange, lemons, grapes, a kiwi, and a strawberry. Delicious!

We surpassed our goal of $4,000 for the Amazing Raise Campaign. The TriCounty Community Network just informed us this week what our total amount is with the matched funds, almost $6,500!
The foundation, through the support of Waste Management, announced the donation of $7,000 of scholarship money to the families of Berks County. Scholarship funds are made possible through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Ms. Crystal Davis posed in a photo with Mr. Brian Furhman from Waste Management, Senator Bob Mensch, and Representative David Maloney.
Thank you for helping us to raise $5,500! The Amazing Raise is a giving challenge that brings together the Tri-County region's (Montgomery, Northern Chester, Eastern Berks) nonprofit community to help raise much needed unrestricted funds and shine a spotlight on the work nonprofits do to make the 422 corridor a better place to live and work!
Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten have been learning about apples during the month of September. The children enjoyed going on a field trip to Bauman’s for a tour about making apple butter. They also went on a trip to Frecon's orchard and learned about the different types of apple trees, what apples need to grow, how to gently pick apples, and much more.
