We had kiwis for our healthy snack this week.
Kiwis have lots of fiber, keeping you full and vitamin C to keep your immune system strong. They also have zinc, a nutrient to keep your hair, skin, teeth and nails healthy. Kiwis have a sweet and tart flavor with 46 calories per kiwi. It’s a great low calorie treat.
Kiwis were originally called Chinese gooseberries. New Zealanders renamed the fruit after their national bird.
