Last month the Afternoon Enrichment class studied earthworms.
Worms are great composters and enrich the soil in our school garden. Mrs. Marks and the students observed the worms in their classroom. They students watched closely to see how the worms move their bodies. Then the students completed diagrams that show the parts of a worm.
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
Enrollment is ongoing as space is available.
