The Pilgrims Say “Thanks!”
We had a fun day on Thursday, November 16th, celebrating our annual Thanksgiving Feast. Students from Brookeside Montessori are pictured dressing in Pilgrim costumes, saying their Thanksgiving rhyme–“The bread is fresh, the water is clear, thank you all for being here! Happy Thanksgiving!”.
Teachers and parents combined their skills to create a beautiful table, meal, and Pilgrim themed books and games throughout the morning. Students especially enjoyed the marbles games, hoop rolling, and relay races!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
