PM Kindergarten students studied the Skeletal System in science.
They learned five major bones: the skull, humerus, ribs, pelvis and femur. The culminating activity was using pasta to build our body. Kindergarten learned some songs that correlated with the Skeletal System such as “Heads, Shoulders Knees and Toes” but using the bones that we learned “Skull, Humerus, Pelvis, Femur.”
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
