On Friday, May 15, our Elementary school students prepared their own lunch with Spanish teacher Colleen Krum.
The students rolled enchiladas with sauce they made from scratch. No leftovers! They also chopped and smashed veggies for guacamole, which was a bit less popular due to a jalepen~o kick. They ended their meal with a warm scoop of arroz dulce and fresh fruit.
In addition to the academics, learning opportunities about other cultures and celebrations is part of the curriculum at Brookeside Montessori. We are now taking enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year.
