Recently during STEM class students were challenged to design and build structures using only Keva planks
The first challenge was to build a structure that is taller than 12 inches. The Kindergarten class worked collaboratively to build a structure that was 5 feet tall! The second challenge was to build a bridge that spanned a 10-inch gap. The Elementary class used tables and chairs to build their structures. The Keva planks were purchased anonymously from our Amazon wish list. Thank you to the Brookeside Montessori supporter who made this donation! The students had a great time in class!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
Enrollment is ongoing as space is available.
