One Press, Two Press, We ALL Press for Cider!
On Friday, September 30, 2016 students at Brookeside Montessori School cooperated with Farmer John of Quiver Farms to produce cider! Seen in the collage here are many students taking part.
Each child had a job: bathing apples, pressing apples, and visiting with the farm animals who eat the peelings at the end of the day! (These included a rabbit and two chickens!) Of course, we all sampled the cider too! Thank you Quiver Farms!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
