The students in the Elementary class at Brookeside Montessori wrote poems throughout the year and choose one of their works to enter into the Young Poets contest sponsored by The Reading Public Library. To celebrate National Poetry Month in April, the students held a poetry reading for the school community. At that time the class received participation awards from the library. It was an extra special day as we celebrate the success of Braeden. His poem won honorable mention in his grade level.
