What is the International Festival?
A celebration of our wonderful world, it’s countries and people!
The students in Kindergarten-Grade 6 participated in this annual event on May 3. The students worked on their projects for several weeks. Each child presented a poster showing photos and facts of a country of their choosing. At the International Festival, students shared their projects with the school community, practicing public speaking skills.
The highlight of the event for many in the school community is the food. Each student with the help of their family prepared and shared a recipe.
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
