Hooray for Hat Day!
Students at Brookeside Montessori School participated in a school-wide celebration for Read Across America Day. Wearing their favorite hats, students participated in interactive readings of Dr. Seuss classic books, games including ” I Can Do That, Cat in the Hat!” and a seriously silly magic act presented by Koo Koo the Magician.
During the magic act, Koo Koo called on audience volunteers to assist him in feats such as plate spinning, causing items to disappear and reappear, and creating magic words so that the trick would work. So much fun!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
