We have worked very hard and wanted to bring our skills into the kitchen by making plant cell pizzas. We made two pizzas, one with tomato sauce and one with pesto sauce. This classroom of scientists took turns identifying parts, placing the edible version on the crust, and then labeling on a poster chart for comparison. Consensus says they turned out pretty delicious! We enjoyed eating a cell made of cells!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
