Cauliflower is good for a child’s bones, muscles, and digestive system.
Cauliflower was discovered by an army commander of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. Cauliflower is part of the cabbage family. In addition to the standard white, cauliflower can be found in orange, purple, and green varieties. A cup of cauliflower has about 25 calories and will provide more than three quarters of the vitamin C recommended for a day. This helps build your immunity and reduces the lengths of colds. It contains vitamin B6 which helps in brain development, manganese which boots your metabolism, and potassium which helps maintain your muscles, heart, and kidneys. Cauliflower grows in the ground. Our helathy snack was grown in Lancaster County.
Our healthy snack is provided by Bause Catered Events in Pottstown with the help of a grant from the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation.
