Elementary Unit on Plant Cells

Elementary is beginning to wrap up a unit on plant cells! We have worked very hard and wanted to bring our skills into the kitchen by making plant cell pizzas. We made two pizzas, one with tomato sauce and one with pesto sauce. This classroom of scientists took turns identifying parts, placing the edible version on the crust, and then labeling on a poster chart for comparison.

Elementary Graduation 2016

Brookeside Montessori Honors Elementary Graduates. On May 27 it was a special day for two of our students who have attended Brookeside Montessori since Preschool. As 6th graders they graduated from Elementary and will be moving on to other school programs next year. They each shared some words of wisdom for younger students like "Focus on your work." "Be kind." and "Enjoy the Montessori math materials!"
