Celebrate World Peace Day! Cooperating with other Montessori school children throughout the world, Brookeside Montessori School students sang the song "Light a Candle for Peace" simultaneously in many time zones! Each child held an origami peace dove, and many decorated our garden with both birds and pinwheels for peace!
Our school picnic took place at Barto Park on Sunday, September 11, 2016. We had a potluck meal together and the children from all classes were able to play on a playground together. This was the most well-attended picnic in recent memory.
Brookeside Montessori is happy to partner with Bause Catered Events in Pottstown PA to provide healthy, locally sourced fresh fruit and vegetable snacks for our students. They will deliver delicious and healthy classroom-portioned fresh snacks to Brookeside every Wednesday. Funding for this program is provided through a grant from the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation!
