On Friday, May 19, 2017 Miss Brianna Poley and the Pre-Kindergarten students from Brookeside Montessori School released Painted Lady butterflies which they raised from teeny- tiny caterpillars! Students formed a circle of well-wishes, wearing their celebratory butterfly antennae, to watch their butterflies return to the wild!

Brookeside Montessori School promotes fun and fitness with our annual Field Day! Of course, no party is complete without the duck pond... our fave. A picnic lunch was served to end the event. Many thanks to the families who participated! It was the best Field Day ever!
The students at Brookeside Montessori School celebrated National Poetry Month in April with a special assembly, "Poetry with Jennifer Hetrick." Ms. Hetrick shared her original poems about animals with the students. The children were eager to share their experiences with animals and then were inspired to create their own poems!
Brookeside Montessori students of all ages were thrilled to participate in S.T.E.A.M. activities led by our Hilt Family! The students planned, built, and in some cases relished demolishing walls and mazes in cooperation with their peers who were busy driving SPHERO robots through said mazes.
