Brookeside students celebrated 100 days of school by collecting 100 cans for 100 days! All canned goods were donated to Boyertown Area Multiservice. Students also made 100 day posters, brought in 100 objects to be counted in class, and played 100 day games!
Science and Cultural Lessons = March Madness. The PM enrichment class at Brookeside Montessori has been hard at work in March! Our map skills are being built one lesson at a time: first the houses, then the town! Each home pictured has the photo of a child waving from the doorway or window. We not only created the houses and the businesses in our nearby town(s) we also used the hallway to create PA Route 100 and map the towns from Bally to Gilbertsville along the way!
KooKoo the Magician visited the students at Brookeside Montessori School on March 1. Students in Pre-School through Grade 6 were amazed by KooKoo's magic and loved being able to be active participants in the show.
Spring is right around the corner and we are busy making plans for our funtastic summer camp. Mrs. Marks and Ms. Davis will be our camp counselors and are working hard to plan fun activities for our summer camp. This year's theme will be "Time Travelers". Camp will feature nine exciting weeks of activities highlighting fun summertime themes. Crafts, games, songs, water play, cooking, field trips, guest speakers, and much more will engage each child at their own age level.
