Last week we held Grandparent Visitation Day. Students in each classroom were able to invite Grandparents or Grandfriends to visit during the school day. Activities varied from homemade snacks to share, playing games, and conducting interviews. It was a special time and we were so glad to host our visitors!
Mrs. Larkin, our music teacher, is doing an instrument program with Elementary students this year. The Upper Elementary students (grades 4-6) had their first ukulele lesson last week. Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. A positive character trait is highlighted in each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation.
Last week campers learned about the rainforests of the world! Alison from Party Animals Express brought a coatimundi that comes from the rainforests of Central and South America. Alison also brought other animals from different habitats.
