Happy Halloween!
Brookeside Montessori Home and School Association proudly announce that our school float won second place ($60.00) in its division at the Bally Halloween Parade!
Students expressed themselves using the theme: ‘Brookeside Montessori School–OF FISH!” We decorated, wore or waved our fish while wishing everyone in Bally a hearty “Happy Halloween!”
Additional highlights included a coral reef made of pool noodles (Mrs. Yoder), Large 3-D fish and jellyfish (Mrs. Yurkovich and Mrs.White) and several long skeins of sea urchins, sand dollars, and battery operated lights (Mrs.Bisbort)
Also, adults handed out non-food gifts to small children along the parade route including pencils, erasers, toys, and stickers (Mrs. Schellenberg)! Thanks again to the drivers: Mr. Martin, & Mr. Hine. Also thanks to the McGrow Family for the lovely mums! Additional thanks to the Treichlers of Wendy’s Flowers for the straw! Fabulous family fun times!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
