Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten recently had the opportunity to participate in Bauman’s Apple Butter Tour. The children were able to observe the process of making Apple Butter from start to finish: from choosing an apple to send up the chute, watching apples being pressed, the cooking process and then the canning/labeling process. The tour ended with a test-tasting of the apple butter and a cup of apple cider. A delicious way to end the field trip!
