Spring Mix, also known as "mesclun", is a name used for a salad mixture of leaves of various species. Mesclun comes from the Spanish word "mezclar", meaning "to mix". Prewashed, flavorful and ready-to-use straight from the package, lettuce-based baby spring mixes offer a simple way to add vegetables to almost any meal.
Kiwis have lots of fiber, keeping you full and vitamin C to keep your immune system strong. They also have zinc, a nutrient to keep your hair, skin, teeth and nails healthy. Kiwis were originally called Chinese gooseberries. New Zealanders renamed the fruit after their national bird.
