This Week’s Healthy Snack is Mini Peppers

Mini Peppers are sweeter than bell peppers. The best way to eat one is to hold it like a strawberry and bite it off right below the stem. Mini Peppers are low in calories and excellent sources of vitamins A, C, potassium, folic acid (for brain development), and fiber (helps to make us full).

Ukulele Lessons at Brookeside

Mrs. Larkin, our music teacher, is doing an instrument program with Elementary students this year. The Upper Elementary students (grades 4-6) had their first ukulele lesson last week.
