Students in the Primary Full Day class went on a walk to a nearby pond.
The students were able to identify living and nonliving things at the pond. They saw living things such as ducks, geese, and turtles. The students collected feathers, cat tail reed plants, and milkweed plants for their nature table.
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
