Pilgrim Thomas and Tom the Turkey from Quiver Farms visited the students at Brookeside Montessori School. As part of their curriculum, the students learned about life in colonial America, the story of the first Thanksgiving, and all about turkeys, too!"
As part of Brookeside's commitment to healthy lifestyles, students recently participated in the first annual track and field event at Brookeside Montessori School. Events included modified javelin and shot-put throwing, hurdles, and a baton relay.
On October 10th, Brookeside Montessori Preschool students participated in a field trip to Savidge Farms in Mertztown, PA. Students and their families went on a hay wagon ride, picked their own pumpkins, and also had some time to explore the farm including:climbing tractors, bale maze, corn teepee, digging corn silo, pretend milking station, and animal visiting area.

Pre-K and Kindergarten students at Brookeside Montessori had a fun-filled day at Merrymead Farm in Lansdale, PA! We went on a hay ride, saw a skit about Johnny Appleseed, went through a corn stalk maze, enjoyed a picnic lunch, and then the children got to choose a pumpkin.
