Our Brookeside gardeners have been busy gathering the last of our garden’s bounty, including some beautiful carrots and turnips!

From planting seeds to tending growing plants and finally harvesting the vegetables, our school garden offers children a hands-on connection to nature and a deeper understanding of where our food comes from.

There’s something special about pulling a carrot from the earth and discovering what has been growing beneath the soil! These experiences nurture patience, responsibility, curiosity, and an appreciation for the natural world.

As our growing season comes to a close, we’re celebrating all the little hands that helped our garden grow. 🍂

Small hands, big harvests, and lessons that grow far beyond the garden. ❤️
