Our last week of time traveling for Summer Camp 2018 was a rockin’ good time! Campers learned about the 1950’s through music and art. Some favorite activities of the week were having a sock hop, watching dancers on American Bandstand, creating t-shirts in the style of Jackson Pollock, and swimming at the Bally Pool.
Hello, time travelers! During our Colonial Times week campers enjoyed making butter with a special guest. The highlight of the week was a field trip to Pottsgrove Manor, a home built in 1752.
KooKoo the Cartoon Magician came to the Renaissance Faire. We learned about the magic entertainers would have been performed during the Renaissance time period.
Recently our campers time traveled to a Renaissance Faire! They had a blast learning about Galileo, DaVinci, and Shakespeare. They learned how to speak and dance like they were living during the Renaissance.
Ahoy there time travelers! Recently our campers enjoyed a spirited week of pirate activities. The children created pirate costumes, went on treasure hunts using their maps skills, and designed a unique treasure chest with a re-purposed shoe box.
