Caroling With Brookeside
Students and their families of Brookeside Montessori School met at a local development of homes and went door to door Christmas caroling! We ended the evening with treats prepared by our families and cocoa prepared and beautifully served by our friends the Miller family.
A Visit From Tom the Turkey
Pilgrim Thomas and Tom the Turkey from Quiver Farms visited the students at Brookeside Montessori School. As part of their curriculum, the students learned about life in colonial America, the story of the first Thanksgiving, and all about turkeys, too!"
Field Day 2014
As part of Brookeside's commitment to healthy lifestyles, students recently participated in the first annual track and field event at Brookeside Montessori School. Events included modified javelin and shot-put throwing, hurdles, and a baton relay.
Savidge Farms Field Trip
On October 10th, Brookeside Montessori Preschool students participated in a field trip to Savidge Farms in Mertztown, PA. Students and their families went on a hay wagon ride, picked their own pumpkins, and also had some time to explore the farm including:climbing tractors, bale maze, corn teepee, digging corn silo, pretend milking station, and animal visiting area.
