Brookeside Montessori is happy to partner with Bause Catered Events in Pottstown PA to provide healthy, locally sourced fresh fruit and vegetable snacks for our students. They will deliver delicious and healthy classroom-portioned fresh snacks to Brookeside every Wednesday. Funding for this program is provided through a grant from the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation!

Please come to our family picnic and help us to celebrate our new year! Meet your new friends and reconnect with old ones, play a game with the teacher, and enjoy a meal together. We are so ready for the year to begin!
Campers at Brookeside Montessori School began the week by making cheerio Octopus and tissue stuffed puffer fish! We learned about traits and behaviors of different sea creatures, talked about our favorite things to find at the beach, and what it would be like to live in a sand castle! Campers created handprint crabs, sponge-painted hermit crabs, sequenced seahorses, and paper bag jelly fish, all while sharing some of their most fond beach and vacation memories.
This week we celebrated summer with an Olympic theme and learned about the Olympic traditions in Ancient Greece in comparison to the games today. Campers discovered the different sports played during the Summer Olympics and what athletes need to do in order to train and participate! We made painted Olympic Rings, aluminum foil torches, and olive wreaths to represent the different countries and traditions involved in the Olympics.
