On Friday, April 5 Krista Spadt, of Simple Gifts Project, came to Brookeside Montessori School.

She explained to the students that Simple Gifts Project spreads kindness and smiles to children that need to stay in a hospital.

She read the story How to Fill a Bucket to the Preschool and Prekindergarten classes and talked about being bucket fillers. Students in Kindergarten and Elementary talked about their gifts that make them special. Then they created an assembly line to put together 80 smile bags! These bags will be delivered by Simple Gifts Project to children in the Doyelstown Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Thank you to all the Brookeside families that donated items for the smile bags.
