Bear Day!

Each student brought a stuffed bear to school. Staff from the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy taught a special science class about bears. Students and their bears were invited to dance, play hide and seek, and listen to a story. The students served their bears a snack by choosing real bear foods from a “Bear Cafe”  menu.

Students also identified which bear family of the world their bears belonged to. The Bear Family Album contained bears from all continents! We had a great time before rocking our bears to sleep to hibernate for the winter.  Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy once again turns science into fun and games!

Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
