On Wednesday, September 21, 2016 @ 10:30 AM all Brookeside Montessori Faculty and students participated in Celebrate World Peace Day! Cooperating with other Montessori school children throughout the world, we sang the song “Light a Candle for Peace” simultaneously in many time zones!
Each child held an origami peace dove, and many decorated our garden with both birds and pinwheels for peace!
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
