As a school our students read 17,659 MINUTES (likely closer to 18K minutes as a few logs are still coming in)!
Highs logged in Primary Half Day were close to 600 Minutes, in Primary Full Day 1200 minutes, and Elementary 1800 minutes.
Each and every student took part contributing to earning our school an impressive GOLD MEDAL FINISH.
You and your child should be extremely proud.
We would like to thank our sponsors (teachers, parents, families, and friends) whom donated $1790.80 toward the ReadaThon. As always, we do not require participation in fundraising, but we are very grateful for those that do support the school/students during our fundraising campaigns. These funds will help go toward spring activities for our students/teachers!
Today during our closing ceremonies each student was awarded with a certificate and gold medal, as well as played book bingo with their teachers to earn a book and prize to take home. We even have enough books stocked up that more reading fun will continue next week as Read Across America starts!
We hope this event helped jump start some big reading goals and solidified the great habit of reading at home.
