Last month a pilgrim and a live turkey came to Brookeside Montessori School!
Our pilgrim visitor showed our curious students the foods the pilgrims would have eaten and the tools they would have used. After the presentation, each class had an opportunity to use these items and pet a live turkey! This program from Quiver Farms is an annual tradition at Brookeside Montessori. It’s a great holiday show! Thank you to the Home and School Association for sponsoring part of this program through their fundraising efforts.
Brookeside’s child-centered educational environment provides activities and a Pennsylvania state approved curriculum appropriate to each child’s developmental stage. The integrated curricula are guided by a highly trained staff, who are aware of the needs of the individual child.
