On Monday, September 21, 2015, students at Brookeside Montessori School, near Boyertown, celebrated ‘World Day of Peace’.
Together, they sang “Light a Candle for Peace” by Shelly Murley, which was written specifically for the Sing Peace around the World project. Students placed pinwheels in the front garden of the school. Participating are shown all students from the age of 2 1/2 years through 6th grade.
Brookeside Montessori promotes peace and community through inclusive school activities, service projects, and the use of multi-age groupings throughout our school.
