During our fifth week of camp we enjoyed many stories from author and illustrator Eric Carle. We had fun learning about insects, ocean animals, the moon, clouds and more. After reading the Mixed Up Chameleon campers did an interesting science experiment to learn the effects of ph on color. Campers looked fabulous in their baker’s hats and like Walter the Baker we made pretzels. A highlight of the week was a field trip to the Wildlands Conservancy in Emmaus. Campers loved catching, observing, then releasing insects.
